WHAT’S NEW SEPTEMBER

August has felt like September here – cool, in the 70s, and rainy, with the Sentinel Tree at the end of our land starting to don her fall finery by August 10th. A very raucous tribe of blue jays has taken over the Seed-n-Suet diner now that the redwing blackbirds have left for warmer climes until next spring. And it feels like we’re going to have a very long, cold winter – so The Husband is outside chopping and stacking firewood, while I fill the kitchen with the smell of baking bread and bubbling soup to stuff the freezer…

THE SHARON SPRINGS PSYCHIC FAIR

I’m actually PROMOTING a show for the first time!

The 2d annual Sharon Springs Psychic Fair and Wellness Festival is going to be taking place on Saturday and Sunday, September 6 and 7. The show will run 11 am to 7 pm both days, with the entire village of Sharon Springs, New York joining in the fun.

I personally hand-picked every psychic, vendor and healer you'll meet there. Not only local folks, but nationally-known practitioners will be in attendance: people like Rev. Jane, who teaches at Lily Dale, the pre-eminent spiritualist community in America...Rachel Ginther, the brilliant creator of more than 400 earth and vibrational essences treasured throughout North America...Frank Bozak, a film composer who turned his musical talents to sound healing. We've scheduled hourly door prizes and lectures for you to learn about everything from self-hypnosis to chiromancy to UFOs.

THE GRANDMOTHERS ARE COMING!

On October 11, 2004, thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers from the Arctic Circle, North, South and Central America, Africa, and Asia, arrived at Tibet House's Menla Mountain Retreat amidst 340 acres of forests, fields and streams in upstate New York in a historic gathering. They were fulfilling an ancient prophecy, known by many of the world's indigenous tribes: "When the Grandmothers from the four directions speak, a new time is coming.” Within a few days of convening, the grandmothers agreed to form a global alliance; to work together to serve both their common goals and their specific local concerns.

The grandmothers are both women of prayer and women of action with a solidarity which creates a network to rebalance and educate the world concerning the fundamental laws of nature and original teachings based on a respect for all life. Their traditional ways link them with the forces of the earth. The Grandmothers are Aama Bombo (Tamang/Nepal), Margaret Behan (Cheyenne-Arapaho), Rita Pitka Blumenstein (Yupik), Julieta Casimiro (Mazatec), Marie Alice Campos Freire (Brazil), Flordemayo (Mayan), Tsering Dolma Gyaltong (Tibetan), Beatrice Long Visitor Holy Dance (Oglala Lakota), Rita Long Visitor Holy Dance (Oglala Lakota), Agnes Baker Pilgrim (Takelma Siletz), Mona Polacca (Hopi/Havasupai/Tewa), Bernadette Rebienot (Omyene), and Clara Shinobu Iura (Brazil) .

The Women’s Gathering of Groton NY is bringing seven of the Grandmothers (those in boldface type above) to central New York for an unprecedented seven days of prayer, gatherings, events and ceremonies for the next seven generations. .

I’ll be there, and hope to see you as well, to support these women of honor, courage and peace.

If you are within 90-minute drive of Cobleskill NY, then weeknights are also available for booking. That encompasses folks in the following NY counties: Albany, Chenango, Columbia, Delaware, Fulton, Greene, Herkimer, Montgomery, Otsego, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady and Schoharie.

1. For parties which require me to drive more than 100 miles round trip I now must add a $30 travel charge. This charge does not apply to parties booked around psychic fairs UNLESS I’m required to drive more than 100 miles round trip from my hotel.

2. Parties cancelled fewer than seven (7) days before the scheduled date will be charged a $75 cancellation fee. When you book your party, I will need a credit card to hold the spot, just as I do for private sessions.

3. Holiday party rates (December 15 through 31st) are as follows: Per person party rates are $70 per reading (30 minutes) and $45 per reading (15 minutes). Corporate/hourly rates are $175 per hour (3 hour minimum) except for New Year’s Eve, which is $200 per hour (4 hour minimum).
